Almost There
It is the start of a new week, and hopefully, new things to come. I am now symptom-free from COVID, and have been able to get back to making more progress on some new projects. I am in the process of outlining and structuring these new things and once I get my microphone, you should start to see what it is that I am working on.
I do not want to show all my cards yet. What I will say is that there will be both free and paid content that will be about various different topics and will allow you to learn and engage with new ideas that you might not be familiar with, or just hear about topics you are passionate about. Many of these projects will be long-term and continuous so your feedback and suggestions will be valued and taken into account.
In other news, the queen has passed away, as you all probably know. It will be interesting to see whether the royal family can keep the monarchy together or whether the cracks will finally cause it to shatter. There are certainly people on both sides of the issue, notably the current prime minister who was openly against the monarchy for a long time. Though it seems that Liz Truss has the tendency to change her views depending on what will get her support. That is certainly a valuable political skill, unless people pick up on it, which it seems many have.
I will say that as much as people love to talk about the theatrics that happens within our congress, it is nothing in comparison to what goes in the British Parliament. They start yelling and screaming at each other, and I find it very comedic. It seems that politicians are more concerned with getting their little soundbites in than actually getting things done. I believe that politics are supposed to be boring and mundane for the average person to watch, instead, it seems like it has turned into reality tv. There was always the aspect of public perception and political theater, but it has been taken to a whole new level. I have much more to say on politics, but I will save that for something else, stay tuned.
